The mission of the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science is to educate, entertain, inspire and to enrich community by making arts and science part of our lives. Husby Performing Arts Center The performing arts center features the 1,800+ seat Great Hall and 291-seat Belbas Theater. This state-of-the-art, gorgeous performing arts complex presents its own Performance Series of Broadway shows, music, dance and theatre, and is the home stage of the South Dakota Symphony and other local and regional arts organizations. Kirby Science Discovery Center Dig a dino! Touch a tornado! Fly the space shuttle! Launch a hot air balloon and meet "Stan" our T-Rex replica. Dozens of hands-on science exhibits to explore in our Kirby Science Discovery Center. Wells Fargo CineDome Theater Immerse yourself in nature, visit far-off lands or travel the universe. The exciting movies in our giant-screen, 60-foot domed theater make you feel like you're part of the action! Visual Arts Center The Visual Arts Center brings the visual arts to children and adults through exhibitions, education and collections. Six art galleries feature changing exhibits, and the Raven Industries Children's Studio lets children explore hands-on. The permanent collection features works by regional artists such as Robert Aldern and Signe Stuart. Most exhibits are free. Seasonal art classes and workshops available for all ages. Leonardo's Café Named for the artist and scientist, Leonardo de Vinci, Leonardo's Café is the place for homemade daily lunch specials, foccacia bread gourmet pizzas and sandwiches and more!
